Meet Your Coach

Hi, I’m Shea and chances are, I’ve worked with you before. Okay, maybe not literally you, but someone who’s been in your shoes. Whether you’re in your 20’s/30’s and still trying to figure out this whole “work/healthy life” balance or in your 50’s/60’s and finding that everything hurts and you’re exhausted, I’ve worked with you before. You with the low back pain that never seems to go away. You with the notion that you have a “weak core” and have no idea what that means or how to fix it. You with the low-carb diet that wonders why she can’t stick to it. And you, in the back, who desperately wants to find a healthy lifestyle that doesn’t take over your life, but instead adds so much to it. You’re the reason why I do this.

 

If it weren’t for you, I’d never grow as a coach, as a teacher, and as an example. If it weren’t for you, we’d all still be stuck listening to practitioners say “Trust Me” and get nothing in return. We’d never learn for ourselves, hold others accountable for not teaching us, or understand how our bodies work. We’d never get anywhere, and that’s a crying shame.

 

It’s because of people like you that I get to be here with you today. To help you in whatever fashion you need. You deserve that. You deserve solutions to your problems, and my only wish is that you find them from someone who’s in your corner.

 

So thank you to those who’ve invited me into their journeys. Thank you to those who have taught me as much as I’ve taught them. And thank you, for not giving up on yourself even when you’ve wanted to.
